PAIR OF PRE-WAR COLT S.A.A. REVOLVERS FROM THE COLLECTION OF C.B. HOGG JACKSON .45 L.C. caliber, 7 1/2" barrels, blue and casehardened finish with lovely staghorn grips. Both revolvers remain in near new original condition and are accompanied by a pair of period tooled holster and belt. Charles Bremner Hogg Jackson was a renowned collector and donated much of his military collection to the Smithsonian. The pistols are accompanied by a letter from the Smithsonian giving a brief history of Mr. Jackson and his collection. Considerable information may be found on the internet relating to him and his collection.
