Here is a good example of the Spencer Saddle Ring Carbine, Post Civil War in caliber 56-50. This firearm comes from a old Indian Territory family in western Oklahoma who passed it down from member to member. The serial number on the firearm is 23815. The wood shows light handling and wear with the wood darkened from age. The metal finish is starting to go to the brown patina, with case hardened still showing on the reciever. The bore is fair, with rifling still able to be seen and felt in the bore. The action is crisp on the firearm.
