Description:
That of course designates that it is 44-40 cal. 7-1/2" bbl SAA built in 1897. A good looking old Colt with nearly all finish remaining on the bbl. Some light wear and some light freckling mostly towards the muzzle. Also wear to the extractor housing. VG markings on the entire gun. Frame still has some case colors. Matching serial numbers and VG orig grips. A slight detractent is the a very old refinish of the cylinder. It has aged and looks good. This gun is in a case as stated. This is called the "London Agency" case which has the Colt label inside the lid. A green felt lined interior with a cartridge block and a couple of of compartments. Accessories included are an oil bottle and the key. The latching part on the lid is missing but the key part is intact. This case compliments the Colt nicely.
