Description:
26" O/U low-matted, vent-rib barrels with solid side ribs choked improved cylinder & modified. 14 3/8"pull from gold single non-selective trigger to checkered wood butt. 1 1/2" - 2 1/8" drop. 3/8" cast off. Figured walnut stock with schnabel-tipped field forend, pistol grip and classic point-pattern checkering. Fixed triggergroup action with hold-open toplever, manual top tang safety and automatic ejectors. Galeazzi game scene engraved with a setter flushing a woodcock on left, another setter confronting two grouse on right and a pointer retrieving a cock pheasant on the underside---all inlaid in gold, and surrounded with fine rose and scroll. Maker's name in gold on barrels, and SICURA inlaid in gold. Weight: 6lbs, 8oz. Built 1986 and listed by number in Lippard's book. Little used, tight and with excellent bores. No galling on knuckle. 99%+blue. In Perazzi leather-trimmed trunk case.
