Made in 1965, this is just a superb example of a smaller-gauge Belgian Auto Five. Unless you really look close, its indistinguishable from NEW. Here are the flaws we found: some scratches on the buttplate, wood finish exhibits some "lacquer-checking" (but its NOT peeling!), there are a few very small, scattered handling marks to be found on the wood, and even fewer on the metal, theres slight evidence on the bolt face that the gun has been fired, but not much! 27-1/2" vent rib barrel has a beautiful, clean, shiny 2-3/4"chamber and 0.621" bore with 0.030" choke (FULL). Action interior is as clean and crisp as the outside of the gun. Internals were recently dismantled, detail-cleaned and lubed (quite an undertaking on an A5) so its ready to go, or just sit in the gun cabinet for another 50 years. Stock and fore end are original to the gun, crack-free, and even the original instruction label is present and intact in the fore end. Seriously, a spectaclar example. Serial #907xx.
