Description:
Rifle was originally produced in 1892. I restored to it what you see now. The internals of the action were modified to chamber and cycle the big 50 Cal cartridge. Barrel and Mag tube were slow rust blued. Bolt was high polish rust blued. Screws, loading gate and trigger were Nitre Blued. Receiver and other parts were bone char color case hardened. Wood was finished in corect reddish tone and varnish. Retains the original barrel and all metal parts. Barrel has been rebored to 50 and roll die 50-100-450 stamped. Winchester only produced a few hundred 86's in 50-100-450.
