SPECIAL ORDER 1892 .32-20 HALF OCTAGON/HALF MAGAZINE RIFLE, MADE 1911, special order 1892 rifles are extremely rare, many more 1894 models were special ordered than 1892 models, according to the Winchester Handbook by Madis, only 613 rifles were half octagon and 2740 had special length magazines, excellent deep barrel blue overall with a couple of spots of scuffing, original Buckhorn rear sight, Lyman half moon with ivory bead front sight, excellent wood with tight wood to metal fit, excellent screws, tight action, excellent bore, receiver shows good aged blue mainly on the back portion with the balance mixing gray and brown, very unusual and attractive 1892.
