Description:
This 12 gauge double hammerless shotgun has tapered round blued 26" steel barrels with matted ventilated rib with Pigeon Grade stamped in a banner. Stamped on the left barrel is Pigeon Grade Winchester Model 23 XTR 12 Ga 3" 76mm New Haven, Conn U.S.A. Stamped on the right barrel is Made in Japan. The bores are very good. The P++ grade Walnut pistol grip butt stock, fitted with black rubber recoil pad and forend are in goodcondition. Both the wrist and the forend are checkered. Features tasteful engravings on the action, lever, forend release and tang with Winchester stamped in a banner on the underside of the highly polished steel action. Action, trigger guard, underlever release and tang are highly polished and left in the "white". Length of pull is 14". Factory wood to metal fit - made by Winchester Repeating Arms Co.
