A beauty that shows some light use but was certainly not abused. The original factory high polish blue is about 92-93%. There is some thinning on the magazine base plate and a little silvering on the sharp edges of the trigger guard. and that's it All of the loss seems to be from carrying.
The rest of the metal parts are at least 98% with no pits or rust spotsor scratches.. The bolt assembly is in the white and, like the blued parts, shows no rust or pits of any kind. The gun features adjustable double set triggers.
The beautifully hand checkered pistol grip and forearm are in super condition with no chips or cracks and no flattened points.
The beautifully grained walnut Monte Carlo stock still has about 80-85% of the original lacquer with just a few light surface scratches and dings. The bulk of the loss is contained to the carrying area. The bolt face, slide rail, feed ramp and magazine follower show little use.
The magazine floor plate is stamped with a small "Stoeger Arms Corporation New York" seal.
The bore is super bright with razor sharp rifling and not a hint of frost.. The gun is fitted with factory installed sling mounts. These Steyrs are world known for their smoothness of operation, accuracy and dependability.
