Winchester pre 64 model 70 standard rifle in 270 WCF,Built in 1948,this rifle retains 98% of the original blue and wood finish and is all original.The bore is excellent with no rust or pitting and sharp rifling.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The rifle has a Lyman peep sight installed.The stock has not been cut to accomodate the peep sight.The action is an early transition action with the round tang.This is a classic model 70 in a very desirable caliber.C&R eligible.
