Colt 1902 Sporting Model....38 Rimless...4 Digit serial number...6" Barrel...This is a Full Museum Quality Restration...It is in Deep Blue Polish...Hard Rubber Grips...Original restored Magazine...Factory letter from Colt dates gun to Feb 1903 shipment...This early gun was built with no slide stop...Rounded "Stub" Hammer...Hole in bottom of frame...Spring-loaded plug in end of recoil-spring housing to allow for field stripping without a sepatate tool...16 early milled front serrations...This pistol is of the second patent date of September 9,1902...Only about 1500 of this date were made... Turnbull Mfg Co did the Polish Flats and Factory Roll Marks...Aquilla Custom Gun Works completed the restration...This is a show piece and would be in front of any collector's showcase...Piece has an early history in South Texas and later Arizonis Railroad, Phoenix and Tucson Area...Has been in same familt since new...Personal Check or Money Order...Layaway Available...Will entertain reasonable offers.....Shipping and Insurance $ 25.00
