Description:
This is a very rare Winchester model 12 with the number V Ulrich pattern.  The standard patterns did not come out until 1924 and I have photos of an example of another 1923 gun with the same pattern but not inlaid.  This gun originally had a full chock barrel but they were lost and the gun was sent back to the factory in the 1950's.  The new barrel is modified and 26" with two beads and a ventilated rib.  The receiver was not reblued at that time and still has a good amount of the orignal bluing.  The stock is B carved and the forearm is in excellent condition.  The original stock is missing a piece at the wrist but I have another replacement stock that matches the forearm. The value of the new stock is about $3000 I can send addition photos and the literature and the photos of the other gun.  LOP is 14 1/4" on both stocks.  The replacement stock will have to be fit with a pad or butt plate.
