Description:
Smith & Wesson 1917 made under Brazilian contract of 1937 and so marked. Internally, this revolver is good news. Timing and bore are excellent, and there is a little color left on hammer and trigger. Externally, this specimen is typical of these Brazilian models. Finish is well worn and original blue is left only in various protected places. Two small areas of pitting on right side of frame.Grips are correct, but numbered to an earlier gun. Their finish is as worn as the rest of the piece. All in all, a reliable, unbuggered example and fine shooter. Comes with a vintage Hunter holster. My out of date Bluebok says a 60% example is $510. You can have it for $500 plus $25 shipping.
