Description:
The Gun That Won The West! They even made a movie, Winchester ’73, starring Jimmy Stewart. This Winchester 1873 Deluxe High Grade Trapper is not an Italian clone or a commemorative made by the thousands. This limited run of only 101 Trappers quickly sold out to dealers and only a few now remain available. It is a beautiful collectible rifle intended for the Winchester enthusiast/collector/Cowboy Action Shooter in .45 Colt with a 16 inch barrel, full length magazine, Tangent sight, High Grade Walnut Stock, Color Case Receiver, Color Case Steel Crescent Butt Plate, Forestock Band and Barrel Band, Brass Front Sight Blade and Brass Cartridge Lifter and backed by a 100% Lifetime Warranty! With only 101 produced, no more to come, acquiring one at the MSRP of $1,855 will soon be history. I am Tom Klein, a former Curios & Relics licensee who has enjoyed seriously collecting quality firearms for decades. When I reached retirement age with my passion for guns and defending the 2nd Amendment unabated, instead of sitting back in my rocking chair I upgraded to full blown FFL and established Heritage Arms LLC, Aiming To Be The Best Little Gun Shop In The Blue Ridge Mountains! Heritage Arms is located at 68 N. Main St., Sparta, NC., 28675. Naturally, as a long time collector, quality and collectible firearms are a Heritage Arms specialty. This was a limited production run that really got my attention. At first I ordered just one to check it out. When I removed the rifle from the box I was so impressed I immediately made a significant additional purchase. So far I have sold 8 of these beautiful rifles, including one to myself that I thoroughly enjoy admiring and shooting. (Since posting this ad I've been asked about availability of more than one rifle with consecutive serial numbers. Yes, I can offer up to 3 with consecutives as of Thanksgiving day, but cannot guarantee beyond Nov 24. Contact me for update on availability. Also, the rifle pictured is representative. Each has its own case color and wood grain characteristics, each is special). When a serious Winchester enthusiast or any classic firearms enthusiast sees and handles one of these 1873 Deluxe Trappers it sells itself! I feel certain it won't be long before these 101 rifles significantly exceed the $1,855 MSRP of this beautiful faithful Winchester production of the original extremely rare and very valuable 1873 Trapper. The Winchester 1873 catalog never included a rifle with a barrel less than the 20 inch Carbine. A shorter barrel was special order only. Most were ordered with a 16 inch barrel by the Fur Trappers of the day and became known as The Trapper.  The 1875 Winchester catalog did  offer to build a special serialized “One of One Hundred” Trapper, “Made with special care taken during assembly and testing to assure better accuracy.” The cost was $20 extra, a lot of money in the day, and ultimately only 8 of a possible 100 were ever produced and are valued at $500,000 today. This 1 of 101 Trapper is a nod to that super rare 1873 rifle. The 1873 rifle went of production in 1919. According to The Winchester Book, by George Madis, factory records show during the entire 46 year production run only 450 Model 1873's were special ordered with barrels less than 20 inches. Most of those in good to excellent condition, a high instance of rarity since trappers got a lot of hard daily use, sell at today for well over $100,000. This is an awesome opportunity for the astute Winchester collector to acquire a beautiful true classic produced in such a small number that it will only considerably appreciate in the years to come. Winchester put the 1873 rifle back into production in 2013 due largely to demand from Cowboy Action Shooters. The catalog includes the 1873 "Short Rifle" with a 20 inch barrel but does not include the 16 inch barreled 1873 Trapper, yet alone a Deluxe Trapper and they are not available by special order. Not having been produced for 97 years until this 1 of 101 Limited Edition Deluxe Model Series, once these 101 are in the hands of buyers fortunate to have acquired one no one will be able to order a Winchester 1873 Deluxe Trapper or even a Standard Trapper, guaranteeing the value will go nowhere but up! Because this was an extremely limited production of the 1873 Trapper, a historically rare and significant Winchester Rifle, expect that even rifles among the 101 produced that have been shot and enjoyed that are someday offered for sale to be worth two to three times the original MSRP. Having the opportunity to acquire a very rare in number, very highly desirable and instantly appreciating collectible with the pedigree of a classic Winchester like this 1873 Deluxe Trapper almost never happens. Future pricing will be solely in the hands of the just 101 enthusiasts and collector owners. It's not sales hype, just common sense to say NOW is the time to buy! Opportunity is knocking but not for much longer. Thanks for looking. ALSO NOTE REGARDING PAYMENT: Price shown is the Cash/Bank Check/Postal Money Order price. Add 3% for Credit Card or PayPal payment.
