Description:
Here we have an amazing example of an early,1910 manufactured, Model 1894. Round Barrel with Marbles Tang Site.
Barrel and magazine tube retain 99% of the original deep blue finish. Receiver 98% blue with a little
wear that is toning by the serial number. The forend cap is toning and there is a little loss of
blue, that has toned, on the bolt. The wood is as nice as i have seen on a standard model with
beautiful striping and retains all of its original finish. Case colors on hammer and lever. There are a couple
very minor handling marks on the wood as would be expected. Mechanics and bore are perfect.
An outstanding and early example of the Model 1894 takedown rifle in the most desirable 38-55 caliber.
