Attention collectors and shooters! Up for sale today is an outstanding US Springfield Model 1896 Krag serial no. 64501 chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This outstanding example of a model 1896 Krag has a pristine barrel, outstanding original finish on both metal and wood and comes with an original US M1905 leather sling which is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1908. Has an original brass muzzle and front sight protector and the cartouche on the stock is very clean and clear and reads 1898. A lovely, beautiful example of an 1896 Krag and an outstanding addition to any collection.
