If you have ever handled a William Evans of London (formerly of Purdey’s) shotgun then you have perhaps handled an E.C. Green shotgun as this maker was known for making guns for that famous London gun emporium. In the English gun trade Mr. Green was known for making guns of very high quality and this little 16g. is no exception.
Beautiful nitro proofed Damascus barrels and an extremely well done full restoration make this little 16 a keeper. I forgot to mention the hammer pulls are fantastic! William Evans formerly of James Purdey built by E.C. Green . Wow. I want to add “And the house that Jack built� at the end of the line!
