The S&W Model 51, which was made from 1960 to 1974, was fitted with a 3 1/2 inch barrel, adjustable rear sight, pinned serrated ramped front sight, built on a round or square butt frame, blue or nickel finished, and is chambered in .22 WMR. This gun is as described, is nickel finished and built on a square butt frame. It retains about 99% of its original nickel finish, with assorted speckling and handling marks. The grips have been replaced with after market pearl like (AJAX ?) with S&W medallions. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly. Comes with a S&W box (has repro label) with manual. This model is rarely seen with the nickel finish.
