Winchester Model 71 Factory Deluxe Carbine .348 win. The serial number of this example is 15666 placing date of manufacture in 1938-39. All early features including Long Tang, Bolt Peep Sight and Sling Swivels. Overall condition is excellent with the Barrel and Magazine Tube retaining 96+% original untouched factory blue. The bore is perfect, possibly unfired. The bore will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The receiver has retained 98+% original untouched factory blue with a tight, smooth and mechanically perfect action. Wood to metal fit is perfect with fancy walnut and a beautiful grain pattern. Very hard to upgrade from this one. Needs hang tags and box.
