High arch breech block markings:  Model 1873 above an Eagle Head above Crossed Arrows above U.S.Lockplate markings:  Eagle in front of the hammer, U.S. Springfield forward of Eagle and 1863 at the rear.Barrel markings:  VP and Eagle Head.Serial # range puts this as a Model 1884 that was built using an 1873 breech block.
