Walther PPK (Party Leader - RZM) Complete Rig, cal. .32 acp., ser. 8247xx.
Awesome, a 100% authentic "Party Peader" & "RZM" ppk rig.
Check Jan Still's book "axis pistols". This serial number falls into the correct "RZM" serial range. Yes, awesome is the only way to describe this rig.
With all parts correct and matching, the gun retains 99.9% of the original factory high polish finish. There is almost no muzzle wear or sharp edge silvering. The front grip strap is factory fresh. Even the slide serration edges show no silvering. The right side of the slide has the correct "RZM" logo.
The party leader wrap around grip has been checked for authenticity and is guaranteed to be original. Its condition is flawless, like the rest of the gun.
The bore, also like the rest of the gun, and appears to be unfired. It is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. There is not even a hint of frosting. The holster, like the gun, appears to have seen almost no use. The back is stamped with the "RZM' logo, 1/38 and a circular maker's stamp, "wonderlich naghf / 1936 berlin". The flap interior is also circular stamped, "wonderlich naghf/ 1936 berlin".
The condition of the holster is super showing almost no use.
The rig also has the original party leader "RZM" belt and buckle. The buckle is gold flashed with a small rub mark at 11:00 o'clock. The back of the buckle has the "RZM" logo mold mark and mold number m4/87. The belt shows some aging cracks from having been rolled up for some 80 years. The interior however shows just some slight wear marks.
The belt latching fixture also shows no wear and is mold stamped "RZM” logo and ma/39.
The rig comes with two magazines, one correct finger grip and one correct flat bottom.
This is an awesome outfit, the author believes it belonged to a very high ranking nazi official that only wore it on very special occasions. This is indeed an exceedingly rare and complete Party Leader/ RZM rig. It just doesn't get better than that. It is the only rig of this type that I have ever seen offered for sale.
