A truly exquisite Winchester model 1894 rifle chambered in 38-55. Made in 1900 this is a completely original and beautiful example of an 1894. 26” octagon barrel with a bright and sharp bore and mechanically perfect. The overall condition of this 116 year old rifle is antique excellent. In modern terms it is 97%+ original blue and varnish. Good case colors on the hammer with fading colors on the crescent butt plate and the lever. Screws are perfect. This rifle could be the premier high condition 1894 in many collections.
