Description:
This is a limited production Winchester (USRAC) 1892 rifles chambered in 45 Colt. Turnbull Manufacturing removed the factory tang safety, taking this rifle back to a half-cock safety notch as it was originally designed. The receiver, hammer, lever, forend cap and crescent butt plate are finished in Turnbull's period correct Color Case Hardening. The rear sight is their modified “flat top” style and the front sight is a 1/16” diameter brass bead. These are the same sights used on their Turnbull Manufacturing Company .475 Turnbull rifles. The factory wood is also refinished to a proper finish, just as they do on their restorations.This rifle remains unfired since leaving the Turnbull shop.
