FINAL REDUCTION SALE - This wonderful old Special Ordered Model 1894 was manufactured in 1896 which I believe was the first year for the .30WCF (.30-30) caliber. Full length octagon barrel and magazine tube bear much original blued finish and bore is excellent. Frame turning bright but with some original blue and appears nobody has ever taken the gun apart as screw heads appear untouched. Pistol grip shotgun buttstock has original hard rubber buttplate, grip cap, etc. and while showing use, remains in solid useable condition and has not been refinished. Forearm is very good with fine hairline longitudinal crack being the only problem, and it has not separated and is fully functional. Rifle is equipped with a folding tang rear sight, and buttstock and forearm have the original special ordered I pattern factory checkering, which while worn is quite visible. Have not asked for a factory letter but I feel one would confirm all the special ordered features of this rifle. This rifle is an antique under Federal Law and so requires no FFL or C&R for transfer - only proof of age.
