In fact, the rebluing and refinish of the walnut stock and forend alone would exceed $300 in value. As refinished, the gun remains in 98%+ condition. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves and the gun is crisp mechanically. There are aspects of Reminton's execution of the Browning patent that we find preferable to Browning's 22 Auto take-down. This is a lovely 22 rifle!
