Description:
NSN, .22 LR, 26” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a very handsome little rifle that features an original Mossberg rear aperture sight, original multi-post front with hood, adjustable hand-stop on the forend, and walnut target stock with shadowline cheek-piece. The metal retains 85-90% of the original blue, with the balance turned to a mildly freckled blue-gray patina, mostly along the top radius of the receiver and barrel. The T-shaped bolt handle has an overall pewter gray patina, while the bright gray bolt has a few scattered specks of pinprick pitting. The stock has a few small handling marks and minor blemishes in the excellent, added varnish, and there is a short, with-the-grain crack at the toe on the right side. This is a nice little rifle that rates about very good plus-fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
