Description:
Serial #15573, .22 RF, 3 1/2” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some very mild freckling within the grooves at the breech. This is a handsome little revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel, with the metal retaining 65-70% of the original blue finish that has fading to pewter gray along most of the barrel, a moderate turn-ring on the cylinder, and mild fading and silvering along the balance. The hammer and trigger have visible traces of the original color case-hardening remaining, mostly on the hammer, and the smooth walnut grips, correct, but not original to the gun, are in very good shape with scattered minor handling marks on both panels. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a nice, and desirable, little Ladysmith in fine overall condition, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
