Description:
Serial #1543, .22 LR, 10" solid-ribbed barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a fourth variation pistol, manufactured ca. 1931-1932, with the early small hammer and retains 92-95% of the original bright blue finish with silvering present along the high edges and scattered minor surface scratches at the sides of the barrel towards the frame. The wide, checkered walnut target grip is in fine condition with only minor surface wear and trace flattening of the points. The only damage to the wood occurs on the heel of the butt where there are some minor chips surrounding the grip screw head. The action is crisp and precise with firm barrel lock-up and no lateral play. This is a fine example of a desirable H&R USRA pistol. FFL or C&R
