Reduced Price! RARE! Offered for sale is an FN LAR .308 Match heavy barrel semi-automatic rifle with bi-pod. I believe it to be the Competition Heavy Barrel 50.42 model. The rifle has a wood stock, short wood forearm, and a synthetic pistol grip. The stock has the steel buttplate top extension. This rifle is unfired and even has the original strapping tape holding the bipod together. It is a single owner rifle bought in the mid 1980’s as an investment and has been in the safe ever since. The markings on the right side are “Fabrique Nationale Herstal” on the first line and “Made in Belgium” on the second line. It has “.308 Match” on the opposite side. It comes with sling swivels, flash suppressor, and one magazine. The magazine shows a little wear in the top corners where it was taken out of the rifle for cleaning. There are two very small dots in the blueing where the folded bi-pod legs touched the gas tube when it was shipped. Otherwise this rifle is absolutely pristine and unfired. These rifles will never be made again and this is the ultimate collector’s item in an FN tactical rifle. You won’t see one of these rifles come up for sale very often – especially one that is unfired. Buyer pays $75 shipping. Seller takes USPS money order or Cashier's/Certified bank check.
