This is a late war production commercial variation of a Walther Mod HP P-38. They were produced during WWII and were sold in Germany to party members and other important individuals who were able to acquire the necessary documents to purchae and own a pistol. It has the eagle N Nazi commercial proof, is all matching numbers matching and it has a excllent bore. The original military finish blue is in very good condition (90%) with the majority of the wear being on the front grip strap. These Mod HP P-38's are much scarcer than the standard military variations as there were only around 24,000 of them produced.
