Winchester pre 64 model 70 standard rifle in 270 WCF (270 Win).Built in 1948,this rifle is a very early transition gun.It retains 98% of the original blue finish and 99% of the original wood finish.The bore is mint with no rust or pitting.The stock is very sound with no cracks or damage.All proof marks and roll marks are sharp and crisp.The rifle has a Lyman peep sight installed.The stock has not been cut out to accomodate the peep sight.This is a classic model 70 in the most popular caliber and all original condition.The favorite of the famous outdoor writer Jack O'Connor.C&R eligible.
