Finnish Mosin Nagant M39, Dated 1942, Cal 7.62X54R, Ser. 547XX.
This beautiful Finnish M39 appears to be unused since its conversion. More than likely the conversion is one of the very early ones that used the modified high quality Belgian M91 barrel blanks.
The gun retains about 99% of the rebuild finish. The "in the white", bolt assembly and trigger are without a fault.
The receiver is stamped Boxed SA and VKT for the Finnish Arsenal and dated 1942. The barrel receiver and bolt are serial number stamped and all matching. (No electro pencil.) The magazine floor plate is numbered 2315.
The refinished stock and associated stock parts are without a blemish. No chips, splits or dings. The vernier sights and almost all metal parts, including internal magazine parts, are still in the original cosmoline. The gun is import marked as almost all were.
The barrel, like rest of the gun shows very little use. The bore is bright with very nice rifling and just a touch of mild frosting.
Should be a joy to shoot and a lovely example for the WWII collector.....$645.
