Colt 1862 Police Model 16-100
This is a very attractive Colt 1862 Police Model 4-1/2” BBL. The action on this pistol works properly and locks up tight. All number match, but cylinder is unnumbered, has the patent date the metal has an aged brown patina and looks very attractive. The grips look great, have been varnished and have one hairline crack and a few dents and dings. The numbers and the letters are clear and easy to read. Scene. The bore has 60%-70% of the rifling and little corrosion; this is a clean, attractive original pistol for the collector or shooter. It would make an excellent addition to your collection.
