Description:
22 inch half octagon tapered barrel with a good bore. Take down frame. Deluxe checkered wood with pistol grip. Shotgun style butt with a steel butt plate. Rear tang sight with 3 leaf rear and a combination front. Thinning blue on barrel. Receiver is mostly a brown/gray patina. Traces of case colors on lever and hammer. Wood is in good condition with lots of original varnish remaining and the usual handling mars that you would see on a rifle from 1896. Research form verifies the features.
