Engraved custom Winchester Model 70 in 300 Holland & Holland. 1958 vintage Model 70 300 H&H that was upgraded by H&H Zehrner (very similar to the Steyr 270 we have offered). 26” original Winchester barrel with folding rear sight and hooded front sight that retains the original hood. French greyed receiver & floor plate that are master engraved with a scroll motif and a stunning Ram featured on the floor plate. The bolt body and follower have been engine turned. The well figured Monte Carlo stock with checkpiece has been expertly carved with scroll work and exhibits stunning checkering, the pistol grip and forend are ebony and it has a Pachmayr recoil pad.
Bore is excellent and the gun has little to no wear showing mechanically and finish wise.
Included is the detachable claw mount period B. Nickel Sup-Flex variable 4-10x E/D/S which is in excellent condition and has its own leather case.
The listed price is a fraction of what it would cost to reproduce the stunning Model 70 in the desirable 300 H&H cal.
