Description:
This full 50 round two piece half split wallpaper box has a double dog logo label, used from 1873 to 1884. This is an early style box with the ammo loose, not stacked. Box shows light water staining on top label with light soiling. Edges and corners of lid show wear with some areas repaired. Side sealing label is 80% intact, fortunately the long side with text is complete, the missing portion is one end with no text. These early UMC boxes are hard to find, this caliber also is quite scarce.
