This Model 57 Winchester would be very hard to upgrade. If you are looking for a Model 57 for an advanced Winchester 22 collection, this would be a good choice. This rifle is impeccable and does not have any apologies. Also has a rare factory Lyman globe sight on the front. Late in the serial range at 16,XXX. Bore is perfect and shiny, clean as a whistle. Stock is perfect with almost no evidence of handling, original varnish. Original blue is beautiful with crisp and clean barrel markings and only the slightest hint of any wear on the high spot edges. Original Lyman reciever peep sight is perfect also, with a folding express rear sight. Steel machined butt plate is also perfect. No evidence of a screw being turned anywhere on the rifle. All original blueing on the bolt handle and bolt. Original 10 round Winchester magazine with all the original blueing. Shipped from FFL to FFL or C&R....USPS Priority mail is 65.00 shipped and boxed in a new plastic hardcase.
