Description:
Serial #S66345, .22LR, 2 1/2” vent rib barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This exquisite revolver features “C” coverage scroll engraving by noted Colt custom engraver Jerry Harper. The revolver has Colt's Royal Blue finish with bright nickel finished cylinder latch, trigger, frame screws, and ejector rod. The rounded butt elephant ivory grips were checkered and hand fitted by James Alaimo, the former Superintendent of the Colt Custom Shop and are, like the rest of the revolver, in spectacular condition. The revolver comes with its original Colt box that specifies that the gun originally had a 4" barrel. Also included with the revolver is a 2013 dated letter from Mr. Alaimo detailing the work that went into the production of this stellar revolver. In short, this is a simply splendid, highly embellished snub-nosed Diamondback and would make an incredible addition to any collection of high grade firearms. FFL
