Description:
Serial #615796, .38 Special, 2” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few minor spots of freckling within the grooves at the breech. This is a 1937-made revolver that was given a short, post-war barrel with ramped front sight at some point, and retains 90-95% of the original blue with mild freckling along the sides of the frame, as well as on the sides of the hammer spur. There is mild silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, and there is a mild turn-ring as well. The revolver is fitted with post-war Coltwood plastic grips that have only some minor surface scratches and blemishes, but are otherwise in excellent shape. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is an attractive looking revolver with a handy, short barrel, and is in fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
