Description:
Standard configuration gun with 26" oct bbl, full mag tube and crescent butt plate. Cal 38-56. Oct bbl has most aging blue remaining. Bore is fair to good with decent rifling. No real pitting but some roughness. May clean up? Receiver has nice clean smooth metal and has aged to a medium gre/brown patina. There is a chip missing out of the loading gate. Crescent butt stock has a crack coming off the lower tang, a chip out of the upper corner on the left and a repaired chip on the right. Numerous scratches and gouges. Forearm is relatively good with several usage marks. If you would like to hunt with a vintage firearm this would be a good choice.
