Description:
This is probably one of the finest Augusta Arsenal refurbished pistols around. This gun has a Remington-UMC slide [ there were only 21,676 of these made in 1918-1919 ] and a 1911 Colt frame from is 1918. The trigger is an early 1911 as is the main spring housing. The grips, grip safety, hammer and slide stop are frpm a later period. The finish of this gun is exceptional in that it is consistent between the slide and the frame. It has a full blue magazine that is stamped " L " [ Little ] on the toe. This gun would be a great to any collections of 1911s. Remington-UMC or arsenal pistols. You will not be disappointed.
