WINCHESTER **VERY EARLY ** MODEL 71 CALIBER 348 WCF ~ LONG TANG STANDARD MODEL 1936 Up for sale is a Winchester model 71 in 348 Winchester.
SER # 11229 This serial number dates to 1936! 2nd Year of production!! Still in VERY nice shape. The wood has some age wear, dings & scratches comensurate with age, The metal has some pitting & wear,(especially on left side of receiver). All original finish on wood & metal. Bore is clean & shiny, no pits.Original metal butt plate in great cond. PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION! ~ USED BUT NOT ABUSED. OVERALL A NICE CLEAN RIFLE This model has a 24" barrel ~ 2/3 tube mag. holding 4 cartridges, blue metal, pistol grip stock iron sights.
