Kimber of Oregon 89 African in the very rare 505 Gibbs Cal. AS new and unfired with lots of extras. Very few Africans were made by Kimber in the 505 Gibbs cartridge estimates vary between 13 and 25, these are coveted and rarely come up for sale. This gun is on consignment by the original to us and we are pleased to offer it. Unfired since new, the owner had a CSMC/Galazan 1.5 inch recoil pad added, which gives it a 15” l.O.P. The well grained walnut cheek piece stock factory sling studs, trap door pistol grip, and ebony for end. He also had a mercury recoil reducer installed in the stock. The rifle is cased in a CSMC/Galazan fitted leather case with red interior. The scope is a Zeiss West Germany DIAVARI-C 1.5-4.5 x 18. Talley QD 1” rings cut for the Kimber base.
