Description:
This Model 1897 is all original in Very Good condition. It has a 30 inch Full choked barrel. It is a take down shotgun that has been taken good care of and looks great. This old Winchester was made in 1914 which makes it 102 years old. The barrel blue is VG Plus. The receiver has less blue but still looks good. The magazine tube has the least blue remaining. The fore end is excellent. The butt stock is VG condition with only a couple of light dings. No cracks in wood. I shot a round of trap a few years ago and 2 rounds of Sporting Clays with the shotgun and it operated great and fun to shoot. A nice collectible Winchester that you can enjoy and not break the bank.
