We are pleased to offer this Colt 1905 Civilian in 45 smokeless rimless. With approximately 6300 manufactured these are likes hens teeth to find, This is an early variant with the rounded hammer. The serial number is in the 25xx rang. It retains a bout 50 percent original finish with less than typical fade and wear. The grips are original to the gun. The lettering and Rampant Colt are legible. Strong iridescent blue is visible on the hammer. The bore shows some frosting but retains strong rifling. This could be the center piece of any Colt semi auto collection it has the condition and rarity of any true collectible Colt.
