Description:
This Model 29-2 revolver features a 8 3/8" barrel and appears unfired. The sides of the frame feature a well executed floral scroll and punch dot engraving that is nearly full coverage, surrounding the S&W logo, the address on the frame,the "SMITH & WESSON" and "44 MAGNUM" markings on the barrel. The revolver is equipped with a ramp serrated blade front sight with orange insert and adjustable rear sight and is fitted with checkered S&W medallion grips. Nickel with gold plated wide checkered hammer, ejector rod, latch button, and wide serrated trigger. Complete with a factory wood case and cleaning rod. Inside the grips is stamped "Engraved by Shannon". From what I could research this is: Walter T. Shannon from Shannon's Custom Gun Engraving in Waldron, Arkansas. This is a really nice engraved and cased S&W that should go with the matching Model 27-2 that is posted next but I will seperate. Serial Number N403463 made in 1977.
