Description:
This 40-65 High Wall Single Shot rifle has a tapered blued octagon 1-1/32" x 7/8" x 30" barrel, that is fitted with an adjustable flip up ladder buckhorn rear sight and a blade front sight. Stamped on the top flat of the barrel in a banner is Old Reliable. Stamped on the top flat is C Sharps Arms Co Inc Big Timber Montana USA Cal 40 2-1/10. The bore is in very good condition. The P+ grade Walnut butt stock and forend are in very good condition. The metal on the action, trigger guard, tang and checkered butt plate have been color case hardened. Stamped on the left side of the receiver is C Sharps Arms Co Inc Big Timber Montana USA 85 - 198. Length of pull is 14-1/2". Factory wood to metal fit - made by C. Sharps Arms Co. - Big Timber, MT.
