Description:
This 44-40 Win Low Wall Model 1885 Single Shot carbine rifle has a blued tapered octagon to round 7/8" to 3/4" x 23-1/4" barrel, that is fitted with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight and a bead front sight. The bore is in very good condition. Stamped on the top flat of the barrel is Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co New Haven Conn USA 44-40. The P grade Walnut butt stock fitted with a brown hard rubber butt pad and forend are in good condition. On the butt pad is Pachmayr Gun Works Los Angeles Calif Made in USA. Minor scrape through the finish on the right side of the butt stock. Stamped on the tang is Trademark Winchester Reg US Pat Off & FGN. Metal finish on the action is worn. Length of pull is 14-3/8". Factory wood to metal fit - made by Winchester Repeating Arms. Condition: Good. Our stock number A129. Willing to ship anywhere in the USA to your FFL dealer. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
