Description:
This 17 HMR Low Wall Single Shot Model 1885 carbine rifle has a blued tapered octagon 1" to 11/16" x 23-1/4" barrel, that is fitted with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight and a bead front sight. The bore is in very good condition. Stamped on the top left flat of the barrel is Winchester US Repeating Arms Co New Haven Ct USA Japan/Miroku Winchester Trademarked from Olin Corporation. Stamped on the top right flat is Model 1885 Cal 17 HMR. The P grade Walnut checkered wrist butt stock fitted with a steel butt plate and checkered forend are in good condition. The metal on the action, trigger guard, tang and butt plate have been color case hardened and is very good. Stamped on the tang is Winchester. Features sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 13-1/4". Factory wood to metal fit - made by Winchester Repeating Arms. Condition: Very Good. Our stock number A131. Willing to ship anywhere in the USA to your FFL dealer. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
