This outstanding Colt Model 1851 Navy early 2nd Model in very fine condition. This Colt 2nd model has the scarce small square back trigger guard. Approx 75% silver is left. On the left side of the frame you will see the smaller "Colts Patent" mark. This Colt has approx 90% cylinder scene that is very visible, there is a bit of pitting in a small area that can be seen, that is the only issue with the entire finish of the Colt. The action works great with a tight lock up. The grips to have near 90% original Varnish. This Colt is covered with a beautiful untouched patina. Every serial number matches. Serial number#2,6**. Mfg in 1851 so this is a early 2nd year production 1851.
